Terms of Service
Last updated: 23 October 2026
1. Scope and parties
1.1 These terms govern the use of Atlassia, the web application at app.atlassia.de and the catalog pages at catalog.atlassia.de (together, the Service). The Service is provided by Badii Boukalane, Milser Str. 65, 33729 Bielefeld, Germany (we, us).
1.2 The Service is offered only to entrepreneurs within the meaning of § 14 BGB, legal entities under public law and special funds under public law (Customer, you). By creating an account, you confirm that you act in a commercial or self-employed professional capacity.
1.3 These terms apply exclusively. Your own terms and conditions do not apply, even if we do not object to them, unless we agree to them in writing.
1.4 Visitors of a catalog you publish are not parties to these terms. You are responsible for your relationship with them (section 5).
2. The Service
2.1 Atlassia turns a CAD assembly and a parts list into an interactive 3D parts catalog. Its main functions are:
- reading STEP, IGES and BREP files, and STL, 3MF and OBJ files, in your browser, so the original file is not transmitted to us (except files you send through an AI assistant, see the last item and 4.3);
- saving projects (parts list, part links, settings, generated 3D models and attached files) to your account;
- publishing catalogs under an unlisted link, embeddable on other websites;
- receiving quote requests from catalog visitors, with optional notification by email or webhook;
- anonymous usage statistics for published catalogs;
- an optional connector for AI assistants such as Claude, which can read your data and send files to a private import inbox in your account, but cannot change, publish or delete your projects or catalogs.
2.2 The Service is in a private beta. Functions may be added, changed or removed. We will give at least 30 days' notice before removing a function you actively use, unless this is not possible for legal or security reasons.
2.3 The Service is a tool. You remain responsible for the accuracy of part numbers, descriptions, quantities, order links and other content you publish, and for any offer, quote or contract you make to your own customers.
3. Account and access
3.1 You sign in with your email address and a sign-in link we send to it. Anyone can use the viewer; saving projects and publishing catalogs require beta access, which we grant at our discretion. There is no entitlement to beta access.
3.2 Keep access to your email account secure: whoever can open the sign-in link can use your Atlassia account. Tell us without delay if you suspect misuse.
3.3 During the beta these limits apply unless we agree otherwise:
| Limit | Value |
|---|---|
| Saved projects per account | 20 |
| Live catalogs per account (revoked ones do not count) | 10 |
| Size of one published catalog | 250 MB |
| Size of one saved file (model, image, PDF) | 50 MB |
| CAD file read in the browser | under 150 MB |
3.4 One account is for one person. Team accounts are not offered yet; colleagues each need their own account.
4. Your content and rights
4.1 Your content stays yours. All CAD data, 3D models generated from it, parts lists, descriptions, images, documents and other content you bring into the Service (Customer Content) remain your property or that of your licensors.
4.2 You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free right, limited to the term of the contract, to store, process, convert, reproduce and make available Customer Content only as far as needed to provide the Service to you: for example, to save your projects, generate and compose 3D models, and serve your published catalogs to the people you share them with. We do not use Customer Content to train AI models, for advertising, or for any other purpose.
4.3 The original CAD file is read in your browser and is not uploaded to us. The exception is a file you ask a connected AI assistant to send to Atlassia: it is stored in a private import inbox in your account until you open it, and deleted then or after 24 hours at the latest. What we store are the 3D display models, data and files the Service generates or you add.
4.4 You warrant that you hold the rights needed to use and publish your content, and that it does not infringe third-party rights, in particular copyrights, trade secrets or confidentiality obligations to your own customers or suppliers. You indemnify us against third-party claims arising from a breach of this warranty, including reasonable costs of legal defence, unless you are not responsible for the breach.
4.5 The Service itself, its software and design remain ours. You may not copy, reverse-engineer or resell it except as permitted by mandatory law.
5. Published catalogs and their visitors
5.1 A published catalog is reachable by anyone who has its link. Links are unlisted and not intentionally indexed, but they are not secret. Anyone who can open a catalog can technically download the 3D models shown in it.
5.2 You decide what is published. For each part you can show its real shape, replace it with a bounding box, or hide it (hidden models are not uploaded); you can protect a catalog with a passcode, hide it, or revoke it. Choosing these settings appropriately, especially for confidential geometry, is your responsibility.
5.3 For the personal data of your catalog visitors (for example, contact details in quote requests), you are the controller and we process it on your behalf under the data processing agreement. You are responsible for informing your visitors, for example by linking your own privacy policy in the catalog's publishing settings.
5.4 Quote requests are requests to you, not to us. We store and forward them; any offer, contract or communication with the requester is between you and them.
6. Acceptable use
6.1 You may not use the Service to publish or store content that is unlawful, infringes third-party rights, or is unrelated to presenting products and parts (for example, using catalogs as general file hosting).
6.2 You may not interfere with the Service: no attempts to bypass access limits, passcodes or rate limits, no automated mass requests, no security testing without our prior written consent, and no malware in uploaded files.
6.3 If we have specific indications of a breach, we may hide an affected catalog or block access to the account, as far as necessary to stop the breach. We will tell you without delay and give you the opportunity to respond. We restore access once the cause is removed.
7. Fees
7.1 The Service is free of charge during the private beta.
7.2 We may introduce paid plans. We will announce prices at least 60 days before they apply to you. You can then choose a plan, or export your data and end the contract before the first charge (section 11). Nothing is charged without your express agreement to a paid plan.
8. Availability and support
8.1 During the beta we provide the Service without a guaranteed availability (no service level agreement). We aim for high availability and announce planned maintenance in advance where it noticeably affects published catalogs.
8.2 Support is provided by email and through the contact form in the app and at atlassia.de, on German working days, without guaranteed response times.
8.3 Published catalogs depend on the Service: if the Service is unavailable, your catalogs and their embeds are unavailable too.
9. Data protection
9.1 How we process personal data of account holders is described in our privacy policy.
9.2 Where we process personal data on your behalf (in particular catalog visitors' quote requests and your notification settings), the data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR applies (DPA). It forms part of this contract and takes precedence over these terms in matters of data protection.
9.3 We use the subprocessors listed in the DPA. We inform you in advance of any new subprocessor.
10. Liability
10.1 We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, under the Product Liability Act, and where we have given a guarantee.
10.2 For slight negligence we are liable only for breach of an essential contractual obligation (an obligation whose fulfilment makes proper performance of the contract possible and on which you may regularly rely). This liability is limited to the damage typical and foreseeable when the contract was concluded.
10.3 While the Service is free of charge, our liability for slight negligence is excluded as far as legally permitted.
10.4 Keep copies of your source data. CAD files never leave your computer; for everything else, use the project export regularly. Where data is lost through our slight negligence, we are liable only for the effort of restoring it from such copies.
10.5 These limitations also apply to the personal liability of our employees and agents.
11. Term, termination and your data
11.1 The contract runs for an indefinite period. You can end it at any time by deleting your account in the account panel. We can end it with four weeks' notice; the right to terminate for good cause remains unaffected.
11.2 Before you leave, export the projects you want to keep: the export contains your parts list, 3D models, attachments and the project data.
11.3 Deleting your account removes your projects and files, your catalogs (their links and embeds stop working), the quote requests and activity of those catalogs, and your settings. If we end the contract, we give you at least 30 days to export your data before deleting it, unless the termination is for good cause and a longer period is unreasonable.
11.4 Backups kept by our hosting provider may contain deleted data for a short period until they are overwritten.
12. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms with effect for the future where there is a valid reason, such as new functions, changes in law or paid plans. We will send you the changes by email at least six weeks before they take effect. If you do not object before then, the changes apply; we will point this out in the email. If you object, either party may end the contract when the changes take effect.
13. Final provisions
13.1 German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).
13.2 If you are a merchant, a legal entity under public law or a special fund under public law, the exclusive place of jurisdiction is Bielefeld, Germany. We may also sue you at your general place of jurisdiction.
13.3 Notices may be given in text form (§ 126b BGB), for example by email.
13.4 If a provision is invalid, the rest of the contract remains valid; the statutory provisions apply in its place.
13.5 These terms are provided in English.
